Gluten and Dairy Free Muesli with Fruit Puree

MUESLI WITH FRUIT PUREE (Gluten and Dairy Free)

Fruit Puree is a base blend of ¼ pineapple and 1 banana. To this add a passionfruit or berries for some additional flavour or use up any other fruit which is looking a bit soft. Chop fruit into pieces and then puree in the blender for one minute. Pineapple is a good source of enzymes and will help improve your digestion.

There are some very good commercial gluten free muesli’s at the health food store however it is simple to mix up a blend you prefer with the following ratio;

1 cup gluten free grain flakes or puffs (rice, amaranth, millet, buckwheat)
1 tsp seeds ( pepitas, chia or sunflower are tasty)
1 tablespoon almonds
¼ cup mixed dried fruit such as apricots, peaches, pears or berries, sultanas or currants.
